EPBBA (Eden Prairie Boys Basketball Association) 2014-15 Registration Information
Dates: September 1, 2014 – Midnight September 25, 2014
Who: All boys in Grades K-12 that either live in Eden Prairie or attend a school in Eden Prairie who want to play either In-House Basketball in Grades K-12 or Travel Basketball in Grades 4-8
How: On-line registration @ www.epbba.org and click on “Register Now” on the left hand side.
PLEASE NOTE: If your son has previously registered on-line:
DO NOT create another profile in the system. If you do not remember your password, enter your email address and hit submit (leave password field blank) and your password will be emailed to you. You are prompted for email and password once you start to register on-line.

Fees: (base registration fee only, ALL FEES REMAIN THE SAME AS THE 2013-14 SEASON)

Travel Basketball Grades 4-8 - If your son is interested in trying out for a travel basketball team, you only need to complete the on-line registration and pay the base fee. There is no advance registration for travel basketball tryouts. Simply arrive at the grade specific date and time for the travel basketball tryouts. More information regarding the travel program including tryout dates can be found at www.epbba.org by clicking on the 2013-14 Travel Team Information under the Travel Grades 4-8 section.

Parents interested in applying for scholarships for the In-House basketball program should send an email to 014EPBBA@Gmail.com with players first and last name, grade, and home phone number and contact information for parent or guardian requesting the scholarship.
Scholarships are not provided for players participating in Grades 4-8 Travel teams for either the base registration fee or the travel fee.
Scholarship recipients will pay the full base registration fee by September 25, 2014 at registration and will be required to volunteer at the EPBBA Basketball Tournament December 5-7, 2014 at Eden Prairie High School Activity Center.
Travel Tournament Shift times will be: Dec 5 - 6-9pm and Dec 6 - 9am-noon & noon-3pm
Scholarship recipients working their full assigned volunteer shifts will have their registration fee refunded by Dec 15, 2014.
If applying for a full scholarship, the parent or guardian will be required to volunteer 6 hours (Two 3 hour shifts).
If applying for a half scholarship, the parent or guardian will be required to volunteer 3 hours (One 3 hour shift)
Scholarship recipients failing to fulfill their volunteer commitment will not receive a refund of the registration fee.
Depending upon the number of scholarship applicants, the EPBBA reserves the right to award partial scholarships in lieu of a full scholarship of the registration fee.
The Deadline for scholarship requests is Friday September 25, 2014.
No Scholarship requests will be accepted after September 25, 2014.

There are 2 offerings for Grades 4-8: (1) In-House and (2) Travel
All boys trying out for any of the travel teams must register and pay the base fee by September 25, 2014. No registrations will be allowed during the first day of travel tryouts.

Travel Basketball Grades 4-8:

If you will be trying out for any of the EPHS team, you must register with the EPHS Activities Office and pay the EPHS activity fee. EPBBA is not affiliated with EPHS in any way.
If you want to play basketball this year, either with EPHS or EPBBA, you must register with both organizations and pay the fee for both.
If you are trying out for an EPHS team and have no interest in playing EPBBA In-House Grades 9-12 basketball should you not make an EPHS team, DO NOT REGISTER with EPBBA, only register with and pay the EPHS Activity fee.
If you register with both organizations and make the EPHS team, EPBBA will refund your registration fee.
If you register with both organizations and do not make the EPHS team, the EPHS activity fee will be refunded.

EPBBA announces our FREE off-season program designed to help boys develop their shooting skills while having fun …… the Eagles Shooting Stars Club!
This is a self-paced program open to both Travel and In-House players in our Association. Boys gain membership to “the Club” by attaining the following goal during the period of May 1- October 1: 10,000 MADE baskets (about 65 per day). Achieve the goal and you’ll receive recognition at an Eagles basketball game and a special Eagles Shooting Stars Club T-shirt!
